- Tailscale reviews applications individually. Public criteria require a first-time customer, a live company domain and matching work email, and a product-focused software or hardware startup. Companies with fewer than 25 employees are prioritized, one-off exceptions are possible, and the program is not intended for companies with over 50 employees.
