Nameclick

Find a person's work email from their LinkedIn profile, or from their name on any page. The card shows who matched, so you know it is the right person before you write.

The extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox is not in the stores yet. Until it is, the LinkedIn email finder does the same lookup from a profile's address.

What the card shows

The person first: their photo, name, title, employer and location, so a wrong match is plain before you copy anything. Then their work email, whether the address was checked to take mail, and when the record was last seen. Their roles and their company, with its size, industry and funding, open from the same card. When the company has a record on Sourcey, the card links it.

Where it works

  • LinkedIn profiles. A small mark sits in the corner of the profile. Press it, then Find work email.
  • A name on any page. Select it, then press Alt+Shift+N or choose Nameclick from the right-click menu. Nameclick works out who was meant from the sentence around the name and the company it names.
  • GitHub profiles. The public profile says where the person works, and Nameclick looks them up there.

What it costs

Installing opens one person's card as a free example. Your first lookup asks you to sign in with Google, which makes a Sourcey account with 30 free lookups a month. A lookup counts only when it shows an email. A miss, a failure or a match you report as the wrong person costs nothing, and opening someone you found before is free.

What it reads

  • On LinkedIn, the profile's address. Nothing from the page itself.
  • On any other page, only when you press: the name you selected, its sentence and paragraph, the page title and the links in that paragraph. They are sent once to work out who you meant, and never stored.
  • On GitHub, the login in the page's address.
  • Never your other tabs, history, feeds or messages, or anything before a press.

The privacy policy has the detail, and the terms say what Nameclick is for.

For agents

The MCP server at https://mcp.nameclick.co/mcp has the same lookup as tools: find_contact finds a person from a LinkedIn address, an email, or a name with a company or domain, and get_contact reopens someone found before, free. Both take the key from the extension's settings. The API is described at openapi.json.

If Nameclick has your details

Nameclick keeps work contact details of people who never signed up for it, and Sourcey is responsible for them. You can ask to be removed: no reason needed, and once removed you are never looked up again.
